UFC will be used for all DoD projects and work for other customers where appropriate. Provide in accordance with UFC 3-535-01, Visual Air Navigation Facilities, and FAA AC 70/7460-1. Provide fail-safe photoelectric control for the fixtures at each service island. Coordinate with the Activity to verify UFC 3-555-01 01 March 2024 16 number required at each location. Typically, four fixtures are used, mounted near corners of the enclosure. If Activity concurs with limiting the number to two fixtures, install at opposite corners. If only one fixture is required by Activity, it must be a dual L-810 fixture. g.
