AFI 34-144 para 3.2.3 (effective/current as of 2019-07-02)1. Designed to meet fire, safety, health and sanitation standards and program needs. Include a minimum of 35 square feet of usable space per child or youth in each activity room with an additional 15 square feet per child for ages 6 weeks to 24 months of age. 3.2.2. Toilets and sinks are located within activity rooms used by children 5 years of age and under. Sinks and toilets shall be provided at ratios outlined in UFC 4-740-14.
