# UFC 3-101-01 Status
UFC 3-101-01 has been CANCELLED as of 16 December 2020 [UFC 3-101-01]. This was the Unified Facilities Criteria document for Architecture that unified architectural criteria for DOD, superseding the prior version dated 28 November 2011 with Changes 1-5 [UFC 3-101-01].
Despite its cancellation, UFC 3-101-01 remains referenced in active Air Force publications. Current standards direct users to consult UFC 3-101-01 for specific requirements including sound transmission [UFC 1-200-01 para 1206.2, 1206.3], enhanced classroom acoustics [UFC 1-200-01 para 1207], interior space dimensions and room area [UFC 1-200-01 para 1208.3, 1208.4], and glazing and daylighting design [UFC 3-101-01].
